Bryan did a fantastic job helping me work through my rescue pups fear issues. He really helped me know how to help her. She has turned into such a great companion and I’ve been amazed at her progress not only with obedience but with her confidence. Indi worked with me through puppy training our newest pup. Both Bryan and Indi are so knowledgeable and they were always willing to answer my numerous questions. Thank you, Arete!
Great experience from beginning to end. Arete initially came to our home to observe our puppy and discuss our goals. Decided on a 10 week in-home training and it exceeded our expectations. It was so valuable to be able to have our trainer observe our dog in our home and give instant feedback and instruction. Just when we wanted to give up, our trainer (Kayla) would arrive for our weekly appointment and save our sanity! She always knew just what to do. Highly recommend.
My husband and I are dog people. Dogs have been a part of our lives for over four decades. In that time we have worked with multiple trainers and training programs in Cache Valley and as far south as SLC. ARETE is by far the best all around, holistic training program we have ever encountered. Outstanding trainers! Indi was kind and patient, and really helped our puppy tremendously. He always had great insights into why she was doing what she was doing, and then gave excellent advise about how to correct the behaviors that we needed to change. The company really keeps the dog's and the owner's best interests in mind. Highest recommendation!
My only regret is not calling sooner. Our dog was highly reactive to neighbors stopping by, and animals on TV. After only a few visits she now responds to commands, stays calm (for the most part) and calmly watches TV. Still working on knocks at the door, but I'm confident she is going to learn to stay calm with flying colors. I look forward to her finishing her training as I am certain it will cement all the work we've done with her. The biggest blessing is the lessons/training is done at our house. Thank God for Arete!
