Really a terrible experience. Delivered our door purchased through Home Depot and solicited the scheduling of an install as the “Home Depot” installers. I should have known better. 4 separate trips, damaged door, botched angle grinder fabrication to existing track, and all I have to show for it is a currently inoperable, beautiful new garage door that Home Depot won’t guarantee as they were not involved in scheduling or sale of install. Garage door opener broke and Advanced Overhead was assigned by my home warranty provider. They were quick to contact, schedule and repair. They did a great job and now I have a brand new opener, keypad and button I can connect to my phone. Great job!
Really enjoyed my experience with Advanced Overhead doors! Called them for a quote on a new door opener and they were faster to respond than others I called and provided a solid product at a fair price. Much more friendly and trustworthy than other garage door servicing companies in the area that I've dealt with and will definitely be calling them again if we need to replace our garage door.
Had a service person come out to fix my garage door problem. He didn't know how, called another place, they had it done in an hour. Still had to pay $145 service call to Advanced.
2 stars for friendly lady when I called to set up appointment, and for the friendly tech who came out to look at my garage door motor. Minus three stars for a bill of $108 for a tech to spend less than 5 minutes looking at a garage door motor and turning a sensitivity screw is a little steep. The secretary did warn me about the $108 up front. I just expected a little more service than 5 minutes for $108. Lesson here is try to fix it yourself before calling expensive repairman.
